Tuesdays with Morrie

Perhaps it was a grandparent, a teacher, or a coworker. Someone older, more patient, and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching and gave you sound advice to help you navigate it. Morrie Schwartz, Mitch Albom's college professor from nearly two decades ago, was that person.

Perhaps, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor along the way, and the insights faded. Wouldn't you like to see that person again and ask those big questions that have been bothering you?

Mitch Albom was given a second chance. In the final months of Morrie's life, he rediscovered him. Mitch visited Morrie in his study every Tuesday, knowing he was dying of ALS (motor neurone disease).
