Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear
This book is nearly 300 pages long and was written by author James Clear, who has done extensive research on habits. Atomic Habits was one of the books that "stormed" at The New York Times when it became a long-term best-seller. The book is divided into chapters. The author's life is told in the beginning. Then there are book chapters on specific topics:
Chapter 1: Make it Obovious
Chapter 2: Make it Attractive
Chapter 3: Make it Easy
Chapter 4: Make it Satisfying
When I read this book, I noticed a difference: the author does not recommend that we emulate the habits of famous billionaires; instead, the book focuses on how to form the habits you want. Furthermore, Atomic Habits not only helps you form and maintain good habits, but it also assists you in eliminating bad habits that are still smoldering in your person. "Small habits make a big difference," we frequently fall into the mindset that great success requires big actions, sometimes thinking of really big things. It's the same as saying I'm exaggerating:))) But this book helps me reflect on the definition of success: the difference is not in the big efforts, but in the small ones that add up over time.
It makes no difference how much effort you put in; what matters is that you put in enough effort. Working hard is not impossible; it simply takes longer! Then, if you wait long enough, there will be a point when you look back on the entire process and it seems like nothing, but everything is so different compared to the beginning!
